How engagements are priced
Hourly rate starts at KES 10,000 or $100 per hour for scoping calls, technical reviews, and incremental advisory work. Final rate depends on project type, scale, and timeline.
Project engagements are priced by scope after a brief and a scoping call. Typical delivery engagements run KES 250,000 / $2,500 and up depending on what we're building and the timeline.
Monthly retainers are available for teams that want ongoing senior engineering capacity, once we've shipped a first project together.
You can invoice me as an independent contractor or contract with Noria Technologies LTD, the practice I have run since 2020.
How it works
- Send a brief. The shorter and more specific, the better.
- We scope it on an intro call - what you're trying to do, what good looks like, the constraints.
- I send a written scope and price within 48 hours.
- Delivery: typically 4-12 weeks. Optional monthly retainer once we've shipped something together.
